Wouldn't it be nice to have a command that could copy and save highlighted items to a file. Each time you copy an item it gets appended to the end of a storage file. Then you could go on the net and grab item after item easily with no limit on the number of items you collect in the storage file. Later when your disconnected you could open up the storage text file which might contain hundreds of clips that you copied while online. Its easier and faster then trying to switch between two documents over and over, even with 10 clipboards. Select some text, hold down command key, type C and hit the spacebar. The first time you do this a folder called 'CopyPaste Clip Archive' is created on the desktop and within it will be a text file called Clip Archive 0. Every time you use this command the selected text will be appended to this text file. By adding a number to the command (command c spacebar 4, etc.) you can create up to10 separate text archives of your copies. Although the text files are created in SimpleText format, they could become to large for Simple Text. But it is easy to open this text file in any word processor and edit and copy the things you need. These files can be deleted any time and new ones can be created. The Clip Archive feature is available only to registered users.
The Utilities Menu has a submenu for the Clip Archive which gives access to the ten archives. One can highlight text anywhere and use the key command or menu to append text to the Clip Archives.
